Based in world-renowned resort of the Espace Killy (Tignes & Val d’Isere) we are an independent chalet company looking for an energetic, bright and hard-working couple to run one of our 12-17 person chalets this winter in Tignes les Brevieres. We are looking for applicants that can run our chalets independently to a high standard with our training, guidance, and support. We would prefer mature applicants or those with a mature outlook and experience (we have absolutely no upper age limit).
As a couple, you will be responsible for the guest experience. The host maintaining high standards of cleanliness and facilitating guest requirements, and the chef cooking our menu to a consistently high level. Both roles come with intensive training so that you can be confident before any guests enter your chalet, as well as a mature and long-standing resort management team to support you throughout the season. Our reputation, and our guests heavily anticipated holiday, are in your hands so the right couple will be diligent, hard-working, and (very importantly) enjoyable to be around!
The chalet chef must be a confident and experienced home cook, previous professional experience is desirable but non-essential. This role involves cooking breakfast and afternoon tea 5 days a week, and producing a high quality 5-course meal 6 nights a week. We provide written and video instruction for all meals in advance, as well as in-resort training with our executive chef.
This role does not include any menu design, budgeting, or shopping. All of your ingredients are delivered to your chalet each week, which means maximum ski time!
