Chalet Couple at Skiaffinity

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced chalet couple help to run our luxury chalet in Paradiski.

We offer a highly competitive salary, an end-of-season bonus, accommodation & ski pack plus other benefits.
The chef does not necessarily be professionally trained however must be passionate about food and happy to design his or her own menu within a budget.

You will be expected to provide quality homemade breakfasts, afternoon tea including cakes and a three/four course evening meal to guests.

We are looking for a couple who are enthusiast, sociable with guests making them welcome in the chalet with the right level of drive, a positive outlook to work, and an ability to get on with people.
Providing excellent customer service putting the guest at the heart of everything you do. The role entails strong customer interaction throughout the week to ensure the guests feel welcome and thoroughly enjoy their stay.

You must maintain a spotless and presentable chalet throughout the week which includes daily cleaning of communal areas and bedrooms on working days. You will deep clean the chalet during changeover day. Chalets cleanliness is regularly monitored.

Your typical work morning involves starting at 7am to serve breakfast at 8am. Afterwards, you will prepare afternoon tea and the evening meal, as well as clean the communal areas and bedrooms and maintain the hot tub if applicable. In the evening you will prepare a three course meal. Each day varies so we require strong flexibility and willingness, with some days requiring more prep and receiving food and linen deliveries etc.

Requirements

A passion for creating delicious food. We are looking for couples who both have a good underlying knowledge of cooking, alongside experience of catering for large dinner parties, or attendance on a chalet-focused cookery course.

Attention to details and high performance standards. You must be determined to perform all aspects of your role to the highest standards and take pride in your work, whether it be housekeeping, food preparation & presentation, chalet administration or guest interaction.

Excellent organizational skills. Half the battle of being a chalet host is already won if you can plan your time effectively and work efficiently!

A genuine interest in people. You will have daily interaction with our guests and play a huge part in making our guests’ holiday a great one. We are looking for applicants with a sociable personality who will enjoy getting to know new guests every week.

A consistently positive outlook. The job at times can be hard and demanding, so the ability to remain enthusiastic and maintain a positive mindset is essential.

A good level of physical fitness and stamina. The role involves a lot of time on your feet (working and skiing!)

A love of skiing or boarding!
