Description
This kitchen position is for a bar food cook, based in a hotel located next to the ski slopes and main chair lift in the central part of one of the world’s leading ski areas – Paradiski. The hotel has a popular bar with a large sun terrace which is open to our guests as well as outside customers serving bar food from midday. Our bar food chefs prepare pizzas, salads and burgers according to the bar food menu on a shift basis for up to 39 hours per week, allowing for plenty of time to enjoy the ski station.
Duties include (on a shift basis) :
- Preparing pizzas (pre-prepared dough), burgers + salads according to orders from the bar food menu
- Assisting the hotel chef with the preparation or service of hotel meals whenever necessary
- Following HACCP protocols (food labelling, food storage and cleaning as set by company standards)
- Communicating with the front of house staff to ensure a smooth, fast service
- Keeping your working area clean and in good order at all times
Requirements
- Kitchen experience
- Organizational skills
- Good hygiene and presentation
- Able to work calmly under pressure
Training on the bar food preparation and hygiene will be given and experience in a kitchen environment is preferable. Applicants must be organized in their work, have good personal presentation and work calmly under pressure.
