We are looking for chalet hosts for our Morzine chalets. If you are hard working enthusiastic, with a natural flair for entertaining and an eye for detail then you sound like the perfect chalet hosts for Riders Refuge!
We know that our chalet hosts are the most important asset we have when it comes to providing fantastic holidays in both winter and summer seasons. We also know that it is hard work being a chalet host having worked as hosts in chalets ourselves for other companies so we work hard to make sure you enjoy your winter season and get the most out of it.
We can provide employment in both Summer and Winter seasons unlike most other chalet companies with a great package and a chance to be involved in our growing company.
All staff will be given training at the beginning of the season to ensure you can deliver a holiday experience our guests will expect.
Your Responsibilities include:
- To provide a relaxed home from home feel for people on holiday with Riders Refuge and provide excellent customer service throughout the holiday.
- Provide breakfast, home baked afternoon tea and a 3 course evening meal 6 days a week for the guests in your chalet.
- Keep the chalet clean and hygienic on a daily and weekly basis, including hot tub/Sauna.
- Prepare weekly menus, shop accordingly for food, wine and cleaning supplies and keep to the chalet budget. (You will be provided with a weekly menu including recipes)
- Create a welcoming atmosphere in your chalet working with the Riders Refuge team, the promotion of resort events and services in order to generate income for the company.

Requirements
- Our chalet hosts ideally need to be a confident cook able to plan, prepare and deliver 3 course evening meals.
- Catering experience essential.
- Friendly, flexible and enthusiastic.
- Able to achieve excellent customer service.
- Good team player.
- An eye for detail.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- At least basic French language skills, preferably conversational.
- Valid British or EU Passport
- Math's and English GCSE or equivalent.
